Egypt 2018 25 pounds

This specimen was lot 45990 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $384. The catalog description^[1] noted, "EGYPT. 25 Pounds, AH 1439/2018. Cairo Mint. NGC MS-66 Red. Struck in copper. Martyrs of Egypt issue." This NCLT was accompanied by fifty and hundred pounds (KM 1028 and 1029). Numista gives the same module for all three, which we copy below. This off-metal strike is likely quite rare.

Recorded mintage: 600 per Numista.

Specification: 25 g, 0.720 fine silver, 40 mm diameter.
