Egypt reconstituted herself as the Arab Republic of Egypt in 1971 (1391 AH), abandoning the title 'United Arab Republic'. Coins were reissued from this year with the modified title. The example shown is a fifty piastres, first introduced in 2005 (KM 942.1) then reduced slightly in diameter in 2007. The SCWC lists this type for 2007-12 and Numista adds 2020-25.
