This specimen was lot 3740 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $77.35. The catalog description[1] noted, "ECUADOR: Republic, AR 2 decimos, Philadelphia, 1914, a lovely toned example! NGC graded MS64." This type was struck at Philadelphia 1914 and 1916 and is more available in high grade than the Lima or Santiago product.
Recorded mintage: 2,500,000.
