This type was struck at Berlin for East Germany 1960-90 during the communist regime. The dull design met Stalinist standards for social realism. The type was demonetized in July 1991 and all dates are worthless.

Recorded mintage: 202,752,200.

Specification: 0.75 g, aluminum, 17 mm diameter, plain edge.
