This specimen was lot 2781 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $95.20. The catalog description[1] noted, "DHAR: Anand Rao III, 1860-1898, AE ½ pice, 1887, EF." Dhar was a princely state on the Narbudda River, neighboring Indore and Gwalior. Its entire output of milled coinage was a twelfth anna, a half pice (shown here) and a quarter anna, also of 1887. Presentation pieces were made in silver and gold.
