This specimen was lot 1132 in Aureo y Calicó sale 447 (Barcelona, March 2025), where it sold for 550 € (about US$719 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted, "1555. Carlos I. Deventer, Campen and Zwolle. 1/2 taler. Hairline[d]. Rare. MBC- [about very fine]." The towns of Deventer, Kampen and Zwolle are in central Overijssel and banded together in the mid-sixteenth century to issue coinage. Numista mentions the accompanying Karolusdaalder of 1555 (Dav-8534) but not this half.
