This specimen was lot 835 in Steve Album Auction 52 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $150. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK: Christian X, 1912-1947, 10 øre, 1921, mint error, struck 20% off-center, PCGS graded AU55." Altho Denmark was neutral in World War One, it was subject to the same higher prices for raw materials. The ten øre, which had formerly been billon, was converted to copper-nickel in 1920 and struck in that alloy until the 1980's. In 1924, the coin was enlarged and a central hole added. The 1922 and 1923 are listed as scarce dates.
Recorded mintage: 8,064,000.
Specification: 1.5 g, copper-nickel, 15 mm diameter.
