Half skillings rigsmønt are recorded from the Copenhagen mint and the Altona mint (shown here) for 1857 and 1868 as part of the coinage reform of 1854. The coinage was reformed again in 1874 to a fully decimal system and this denomination was dropped in favor of the one øre.
Recorded mintage: unknown but common.
Specification: 1.9 g, bronze, 15.6 mm diameter.
