Denmark 1676-GK mark
The first specimen was lot 2531 in Stephen Album sale 47 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2023), where it sold for $132. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK: Christian V, 1670-1699, AR mark, 1676, initials GK, very faint reverse graffiti, tiny clip at 10:30, two-year type, EF." The second specimen was lot 10270 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €145 (about US$151). The catalog description[2] noted, "DENMARK. Mark, 1676-GK. Copenhagen Mint. Christian V. NGC Unc Details--Cleaned. Sharp, detailed strike. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." Varieties exist in the shape of the royal monogram; KM 342.2 is rare.
