This specimen was lot 49143 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND. Danzig. Solidus, 1581. Stefan Bathori. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, Unc Details. From the Collection of Kazmier Wysocki, former mayor of Hackensack, New Jersey." This type was struck 1578-84. Numista calls this a Szeląg gdański, which we presume is its name in Polish. One złoty was ninety solidi or szelag.

Specification: 1.12 g, 0.163 fine silver, 19 mm diameter.
