This five korun is one of a type issued more or less continuously since 1993, about the time the Czechs obtained their divorce from the Slovaks. The SCWC notes that many of the dates were issued in small numbers, presumably for collector sets. This specimen was pulled from circulation. As of August 2023, US$1 = 22.09 korun, making this coin worth about US$0.23.
Recorded mintage: 19,911,000 plus 3,200 proofs.
