five pesos
The first specimen was lot 5626 in Ponterio sale 152 (New York, January 2010), where it sold for $270.25. The catalog description noted, "MEXICO. 5 Pesos, 7.3.1934. Showing the lovely portrait of a Gypsy at the center and deep multi-colored under prints, this large size note will surely attract attention. Fantastic original paper without a trace of handling is seen and the margins frame the design quite nicely. UNCIRCULATED."
