Republica De Costa Rica. 2 Colones, 1918. P-151. Fine. Still pleasing details are found on this 2 Colones Costa Rican note. Seen with portrait of bust at left, with arms at right. Red signatures."

This specimen was lot 32078 in Stack's Bowers 2015 ANA sale (Chicago, August 2015), where it sold for $763.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "COSTA RICA. Republica De Costa Rica. 50 Colones, ND (1917). P-150s. Specimen. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. Specimen overprints, serial numbers and punch cancels at the signature panels. A design type that does not even list issued notes in the SCWPM with just proof and specimen notes shown. This specimen is quite impressive in terms of quality and appeal with a large size format and beautiful guilloche color. Nicely centered and fully worthy of the applied Gem grade."
