This specimen was lot 2023 in Sincona sale 69 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 250 CHF (about US$332 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BANKNOTEN | China | China and South Sea Bank, Ltd. 1 Yuan 1921, 1. October. SHANGHAI. Without title CHAIRMAN. Pick A121b. SM #C295-1a. -II. (Currency of China, China and South Sea Bank, Ltd., one yuan of 1921, SHANGHAI overprint. About extremely fine.)"
