The first specimen was sold in a Heritage internet sale (Dallas, June 2009) for $94. The catalog description noted, "Mexico Banco de Morelos 20 Pesos 1910 Several appealing vignettes are seen on this Series D note with black ink and a blue underprint. Two women are featured in the vignette at left and the vignette at right includes a woman seated next to a lion. The margins are rough in places and a few tears are observed along with pinholes. The first specimen was sold in a Heritage internet sale (Dallas, July 2009) for $184. The catalog description noted, "Mexico 50 Pesos El Banco De Morelos 1910. The Krause reference list[s] this note at $75 in Good and $150 in Fine. Very Good." Frampton, et al., note various issues of this note dated 1903 and 1910. This type is much scarcer than the $20 shown above.
