The first specimen was sold in Heritage sale 3510 (Memphis, TN, June 2010) for $690. The catalog description noted, "Mexico 50 Pesos 1.9.1910 El Banco de Hidalgo. Reportedly only 10,000 notes were printed for this issue and Pick does not list any prices above Fine. This is an attractive Very Fine-Extremely Fine example." Frampton, et al., note various issues of this note dated 1902-10, all scarce to rare. Cancelled notes ("AMORTIZADO", Fr M372r) are common.

one hundred pesos
This specimen was sold in Heritage sale 3514 (Long Beach, CA, September 2011) for $1,725. The catalog description noted, "Mexico El Banco de Hidalgo 100 Pesos 21.4.1914. The monument to Miguel Hidalgo is represented at left on this scarce note, while a portrait of Juan C. Doria is seen at right. The back design features a city view of Pachuca. A Series C example, this note is graded PMG Very Fine 20." Frampton, et al., note various issues of this note dated 1903-14, all scarce to rare. One overprint from Tulancingo (M373b) is recorded.
