This bank was never officially chartered, existing only to issue notes for the Zapatistas, who generally scorned currency as a tool of the landowning elite to rob the peasants. One, two, five, ten and twenty pesos notes exist tho none are common.

1914 five pesos

The specimen shown is a five pesos note issued in 1914 by the Banco Revolucionario de Guerrero. It is very scarce, with most survivors being torn or having pieces missing. This type also comes with red printed signatures (M1851b).
