This specimen was lot 8012 in Ponterio sale 150 (Los Angeles, August 2009), where it sold for $2,990. The catalog description noted, "BAHAMAS. 5 Shillings, 28.1.1897. P-A5. VERY RARE. Typically seen with a blue hue, this pink note surely will be a sight for collectors. The note has even circulation and a vivid watermark. VERY FINE."

1919 pound

This specimen was lot 8013 in Ponterio sale 150 (Los Angeles, August 2009), where it sold for $1,035. The catalog description noted, "BAHAMAS. 1 Pound, 1919. P-7. A scarce King George V note with lovely paper and light even circulation. The note is completely original and is problem free. VERY FINE."

This specimen was lot 8014 in Ponterio sale 150 (Los Angeles, August 2009), where it sold for $2,300. The catalog description noted, "BAHAMAS. 5 Pounds, 1936. P-12b. This British Administration Five Pound note is one of the nicest we have seen showing paper quality that is second-to-none. The embossing of the design and overprints jump through the paper to the reverse and attest to the note's originality. Deep ink and fresh white paper round out the lovely attributes associated with this piece. UNCIRCULATED."

Sincona sale 80, part of lot 4016

This specimen was part of lot 4016 in Sincona sale 80 (Zürich, October 2022), where it sold for 60 CHF (about US$72 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[2] noted,

"BANKNOTEN | Bahamas | Britische Administration (bis 1968), 4 Shillings o. J. (1954). Central Bank of the Bahamas. 1 Dollar o. J. (1992). Pick 13b, 50. IV und I. (2) (Bahamas, British administration, until 1968, undated four shillings, circa 1954, and an undated dollar note, circa 1992. Fine and uncirculated, two pieces.)"
