This specimen was lot 3565 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 525 CHF (about US$791 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUMÄNIEN Banknoten, Banca Nationala a Romaniei, 5000 Lei 1940, 6. September, In Erinnerung auf die Krönung des Königs Karl II. Aufdruck des Datums in blauer Farbe über das Portrait des Königs. Altes Datum: 1931, 31. März. I-II. Kleiner Fleck am oberen Rand. (Romania, banknotes of the National Bank of Romania, five thousand lei of September 6, 1940, commemorating the coronation of Charles II. Overprinted on a note of March 31, 1931. About Uncirculated, Small stain on top edge.)"
