from the Krass Collection

This note is from the early days of Nigerian independence, before the currency was changed to naira in 1973. Tho undated, it is from the series of 1967 and accompanied a five shillings, ten shillings and five pound notes. Another one pound note of similar design (Pick-12) was printed in 1968 but is olive brown instead of red.
