Ionian Islands 1943 50 drachma
This specimen was printed in 1943 and is assigned catalog number P-M14. It is 105 x 65 mm. It was circulated during the Italian occupation of the Ionian Islands in anticipation of their annexation after the war. When Italy surrendered in 1943, the Germans occupied the islands along with the rest of Greece and deported the Jewish community to their deaths.

This specimen was printed in 1943 and is assigned catalog number P-121. It is 120 x 60 mm. It was circulated during the Axis occupation of Greece altho we're not sure which occupier issued it.
1950 100 drachma
This specimen was printed in 1950 and is assigned catalog number P-324a. A series 1953 exists and is assigned catalog number 324b. Greece went thru hyperinflation during World War Two, the victim of German, Italian and Bulgarian occupation.
