Weimar Republic
This 5000 mark note was printed in the Weimar Republic as the hyperinflation began to accelerate. The obverse has a portrait of the merchant Imhof at right by Albrecht Dürer. The note is 130 × 90 mm and has catalog number Pick 81a thru 81e with various watermarks. It is worthless.
