Japanese occupation, ten rupees (1942-44)
This note was printed for Burma in 1942-44, while it was under Japanese occupation. It is worthless. Burma occupation notes were printed in denomination of one, five and ten cents, and quarter, half, one, five, ten and one hundred 100 rupees. It is 160 x 76 mm and has catalog numbers Pick-16a (watermarked), 16b (no watermark), 16z (American and British counterfeits).
