This specimen was lot 75792 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Venice. 10 Tornesi, ND (1611-15). Venice Mint. Marcantonio Memmo. PCGS EF-40. Struck for use in Crete." Venice held the island from the time of the Fourth Crusade (1212) until its conquest by the Ottomans (1669).
