This specimen was lot 12198 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $1,500. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 1855 10 Pesos. Bogotá mint. MS-62 (PCGS). Highly lustrous light yellow gold, very attractive though showing many tiny marks scattered on both sides. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian and Ecuadorian Coins." This type was struck at Bogotá 1853-57 and Popayan 1853, 1856-7. While not cheap, it is considerably more available than the five pesos.
