This specimen was part of lot 4206 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 110 CHF (about US$166 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Graubünden, Chur, Bistum. Joseph Benedikt von Rost, 1728-1754. Groschen 1730, Chur. Jahreszahl unter dem Wappen. 2 Kreuzer 1741. Lot von 2 Stück. Sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Grisons, bishopric of Chur, Joseph Benedict of Rost, 1728-54, groschen of 1730 and two kreuzer of 1741. Very Fine, two pieces.)"

The SCWC notes three different groschen for 1730: KM 150 (value on reverse, shown here), KM 151 (value on obverse) and KM 268 (issued by the city). The city issue is common, KM 150 is scarce and KM 151 is rare.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: billon, 19 mm diameter.

Catalog reference: KM 150, D.T. 886, HMZ 2-467a.
