Sincona sale 47, lot 2797

This specimen was lot 2797 in Sincona sale 47 (Zürich, May 2018), where it sold for 3,000 CHF (about US$3,600 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SWITZERLAND, Grisons, Chur, Bistum, Ulrich VII. von Federspiel, 1692-1728. 15 Kreuzer (Viertelgulden) 1703, Chur. Brustbild des Bischofs ohne Kopfbedeckung nach rechts. Rv. Gekrönter Doppeladler mit Nimben und mit vierfeldigem Wappen auf der Brust. Unten Wertzahl. Sehr selten. Sehr schön. (bishopric of Chur, Ulrich VII of Mont, 1692-1728, fifteen kreuzer/quarter gulden of 1703, Chur mint. Obverse: bust of the bishop to right; reverse: crowned double headed eagle supporting quartered arms, date below. Very rare, Very fine.)"
