The first specimen was lot 73382 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2022), where it sold for $552. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHILE. 20 Centavos, 1878-So. The previous type (KM 135) had a high relief condor which struck up poorly. The succeeding type (KM 138.2) was reduced to 0.500 fine silver. Overdates abound.

Specification: 5 g, 0.835 fine silver, 23 mm diameter.

Catalog reference: KM-138.1.
