This specimen was lot 74630 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2024), where it sold for $2,640. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHAD. 3000 Francs, 2017. Scottsdale Mint. NGC PROOF-67. An appealing and charming representative, offering alluring brilliance and a striking design honoring Tutankhamun." These were struck and sold in the United States; we don't know if any made it to Chad. Chadians normally use the CFA franc for ordinary transactions.
