This specimen was lot 3208 in Goldberg sale 85 (Los Angeles, June 2015), where it sold for $588. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Canada. 100 Dollars, 1979. International Year of the Child. In original case. Choice Brilliant Proof." Gold one hundred dollar gold coins were struck to this standard 1976-86, each year with a different subject. All are priced the same in the SCWC.
