This specimen was lot 3597 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "CAMBODIA: Ang Duong, 1840-1860, BI 2 pe, ND (1880), dancing Garuda type, PCGS graded EF45." Cambodia was colonized by the French in the 1860's and incorporated into French Indochina in the 1880's, thwarting the development of Cambodian coinage. This denomination was struck thru a large part of the nineteenth century in many varieties. One tical was 32 pe.
