This set was lot 1313 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRUNEI: Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, 1967-, AR proof set, 1992, 7-piece silver proof set for the 25th Anniversary of the Brunei Currency Board, no box, mintage of only 2,000 sets, Choice Proof, S, ex Wolfgang Schuster Collection." Crude oil and natural gas account for 90% of the GDP of Brunei, allowing the sultan and his family and cronies to maintain a suitably lavish lifestyle. This set was also struck in gold. Other commemoratives of 1992 marked the 25th anniversary of Hassanal's reign (KM 39) and the regular circulation coins (KM 20).

Recorded mintage: 2,000 proofs.

Specification: 25 dollars: 31.10 g, 0.925 fine silver, 38.7 mm diameter.
