This specimen was lot 74048 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2024), where it sold for $720. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS. Bi-Metallic 75 Dollars, 2005. Elizabeth II. NGC MS-64. Titanium center with Gold ring. Commemorates the 150th Anniversary of the Western Australian inverted swan stamp. An interesting piece with 2 metals not commonly paired together." This is a product of the Pobjoy mint, which specialized in minting exotic metals. It honored the 150th anniversary of a rare stamp issued in Western Australia.
