Künker sale 294, lot 3501

This specimen was lot 3501 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €500 (about US$674 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG IN FRANKEN, Albrecht Achilles, 1464-1486. Goldgulden o. J. (1470-1486), Schwabach. GOLD. Seltene Variante. Druckstelle, sehr schön. (Brandenburg-Franconia, Albrecht Achilles, 1464-86, undated goldgulden, Schwabach mint. Rare variety, rim bumps, very fine.)"

This goldgulden, Albrecht's only gold issue, is fairly common.
