Jean Elsen sale 145, lot 1516

This specimen was lot 1516 in Jean Elsen sale 145 (Brussels, September 2020), where it sold for €90 (about US$128 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRABANT, Duché, Philippe II (1555-1598), restauré, Cu liard, 1587, Anvers. D/ B. couronné et cuir. à g. R/ Ecu couronné. Rare. Très Beau. (duchy of Brabant, Philip II, 1555-98, copper liard of 1587, Antwerp mint. Obverse: crowned and armored bust left; reverse: crowned arms. Rare, Very Fine.)"
