This specimen was lot 5085 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 325 CHF (about US$490 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Bern, Stadt und Kanton, Kreuzer 1566, Bern. Selten. Gutes sehr schön. (Switzerland, city and canton of Bern, kreuzer of 1566, Bern mint. Rare, Good Very Fine.)"
This type was struck 1560-70, 1583-84, 1590, 1595-96. The reverse legend, "✥ BERCHT ∙ D ∙ ZERI ∙ COND", likely refers to Berthold V, last duke of Zähringen (r. 1186-1218).
