This specimen was lot 74522 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2024), where it sold for $65. The catalog description[1] noted, "BELGIAN CONGO. 5 Centimes, 1926/5. Albert I. NGC MS-61. This elegantly toned example features gentle luster and satiny surfaces." This type was struck 1910-11, 1917-21, 1925-28. Several dates (1917, 1919 and 1921) were struck at Heaton, the Brussels mint being closed by World War One. The 1926 is common, the 1926/5 is scarce.
