This specimen was lot 1754 in Künker sale 352 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €1,000 (about US$1,392 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BAYERN, HERZOGTUM, SEIT 1623 KURFÜRSTENTUM, Ferdinand Maria, 1651-1679. Goldgulden 1678, München. GOLD. Leicht justiert, vorzüglich +. (Germany, electorate of Bavaria, Ferdinand Maria, 1651-79, goldgulden of 1678, Munich mint. Lightly adjusted, extremely fine or better.)"
This type was struck 1674-79 and is fairly available altho this date is rare.
