This specimen was lot 6074 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $176.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "BARBADOS. 100 Dollars, 1983 FM. NGC PROOF-69 ULTRA CAMEO. Reported mintage of only 484 pieces. A nearly perfect example from a low mintage issue. Free from tone, haze and fog. From the Michael Druck Collection." This is another Non-Circulating Legal Tender coin issued and marketed by the Franklin mint on behalf of Barbados before it withdrew from coinage operations in 1985.

Recorded mintage: 3 plus 484 proofs.

Specification: 6.21 g, 0.500 fine gold.
