This specimen was lot 12529 in Heritage sale 448 (Long Beach, September 2007), where it sold for $2300. The catalog description noted, "Guatemala El Banco Nacional de Guatemala 1 Peso ND 1874 Pick S167. This interesting note printed by Columbian Bank Note Company has the look of obsolete notes printed years earlier in the US. Nicely margined with bright inks, this piece is destined for the finest of collections. Very Fine-Extremely Fine."
