This specimen is one of a type struck for the Bahamas starting in 1974. In 1974 the bust of the queen was dropped in favor of the arms of the Bahamas. The Franklin Mint produced this denomination 1971-85. The pineapple is featured on the reverse.
Recorded mintage: unknown but common.
Specification: 3.94 g, copper-nickel, 21 mm diameter.
