This specimen was lot 1724 in Jean Elsen sale 163 (Brussels, November 2025), where it sold for €900 (about US$1,040 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BAHAMAS, AV 250 dollars, 1979. 250e anniversaire du parlement. (Bahamas, Elizabeth II, 1952-2022, gold 250 dollars of 1974, for the 250th anniversary of parliament. Proof.)"
Princess Anne (b. 1950), king Charles' sister, appears on the reverse.
