This type was struck for circulation in Austria 2002-07. Mozart is featured on the obverse. One euro coins with a revised reverse (KM 3142) were struck since 2008 altho some years were struck only for collector sets (2012-15).

Recorded mintage: 41,100,000 plus 20,000 proofs.

Specification: 7.5 g, bimetallic, 23.25 mm diameter, segmented reeded edge.
