Stack's Bowers November 2022 Collectors Choice sale, lot 74331

This specimen was lot 74331 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2022), where it sold for $144. The catalog description^[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. 25 Schilling, 1956. Vienna Mint. NGC PROOF-66. Struck upon the 200th anniversary of the birth of Mozart. Fully reflective fields with a stunning depiction of the great composer and pianist." This denomination was used for NCLT's only 1955-73.

Recorded mintage: 4,999,000 plus 1,000 proofs.
