This specimen was lot 1601 in Künker sale 352 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €2,400 (about US$3,340 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Erzherzog Karl, 1564-1590. Dukat 1585, Klagenfurt. GOLD. Vorzüglich +. (Holy Roman Empire, archduke Charles, 1564-90, ducat of 1585, Klagenfurt mint. Extremely fine or better.)"
This type was struck 1565-70, 1572-90.
