This specimen was lot 42029 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Oklahoma City, OK, August 2025), where it sold for $1,320. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. Linz. Ducat, 1547. Linz Mint. Ferdinand I. NGC AU Details--Obverse Damage. Despite a few noted marks on the obverse, a well detailed and pleasing example of this SCARCE Austrian states Ducat." This type is listed in the SCWC for 1536-40 and 1543-47. The Linz mint was not a major producer and this type is rare.
