This specimen was lot 2244 in Künker sale 439 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €3,600 (about US$4,953 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Ferdinand I., 1522-1558-1564. Dukat 1538, Wien. GOLD. RR Kl. Probierspur am Rand, vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung Kommerzialrat Dr. Herbert Wenzel, Wien. Exemplar der Auktion Dorotheum Kunstabteilung 200, Wien, Februar 1957, Nr. 83. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand I, 1522-64, ducat of 1538, Vienna mint. Very rare, tool mark on the rim, extremely fine.)"
The SCWC lists this for 1534, 1538, 1543-54 but other dates likely exist.
