This specimen was lot 20151 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $3,120. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRALIA. 200 Dollars, 1995. PCGS PROOF-69 Deep Cameo Gold Shield. A VERY RARE issue, this 2 ounce striking offers nearly flawless surfaces with incredibly radiance and brilliant luster. An alluring frosting to the devices presents an awesome cameo nature. The finest graded in the PCGS census." Another two ounce gold piece (KM 182), with a leaping kangaroo on the reverse, was also struck in 1995.
