This specimen was lot 690 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $19,200. The catalog description[1] noted, "ASSAM: Rajesvara Simha, 1751-1769, AV mohur, SE1674 (1752), bold strike, without any weakness whatsoever, NGC graded AU55." This type struck SE 1674, 1678, 1681, 1684, 1688-1690 and all dates are rare. Saka Era (SE) dates are 78 years earlier than Common Era dates in Western countries.
