This specimen was lot 2514 in Stephen Album sale 50 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "ASSAM: Pramatta Simha, 1744-1751, AR rupee, SE1668, lion & rosette below the obverse; small stain on reverse (removable), XF, ex Ian Todd Collection." This type was struck SE 1667-1673 and is common. Saka Era (SE) dates are 78 years earlier than current year dates in Western countries.
